About Rich-image-About Rich

Rich Satire is an Infomercial Icon.

Born in 1969 in Woodstock, NY he had mud on his face within seconds of birth.

His mother was a groupie and toured with Grateful Dead while his father, a professional golfer toured with the PGA.

He would spend his winters riding in a golf cart on grass and summers riding in a School Bus on grass. By age 17 he was recognized as a scratch golfer, not because he was good, but because he had a bad case of lice from an extended Grateful Dead Tour.

In 1987 he joined the Coast Guard and saw action in the Florida Keys, and took shrapnel in his butt during the Battle of Key West during Fantasy Fest.

When the Berlin Wall came down in 1989, Rich decided to leave the Coast Guard, fearing his Cutter would never see action in Eastern Europe as was his dream.

In 1990, Rich bought his first Corvette and drove to Hollywood. It was that year he landed his first and only role as a consultant and Crewman #12 in the Independent film. Battle For Key West Gone Wild.

Rich parlayed his role in that movie into a record 29 consecutive TV Pilot’s that were not subsequently picked up earning him the nickame. Pilot King.

Ironically this name led Rich to his first infomercial Gig..

When confusion over his nickname landed him a job as spokesman for Toilet King. Which was a Space Age Plunger Manufactured by Crappo Products Inc.

Rich’s innovative style helped Crappo sell over 1 million Toilet Kings in their first year.. It wasn’t long before Rich was no longer known as Pilot King… but as “King of Crappo”

Rich continues to be the spokesman for Crappo Products and is available for product endorsements, acting and voiceover work.
